Jeff graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and moved to Arkansas to accept a position with Entergy Corporation. During his years with Entergy Corp., Jeff held several positions which included managerial responsibility. In 1996, the agency founder, Jim Greene, asked Jeff to join James Greene & Associates as an agent. Jeff accepted the position. In the subsequent years, Jeff worked in customer service, information systems & technology, and finance and administration. In 2002, he assumed the position of agency president, and in September of 2015, he became Chief Executive Officer. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities.

Kurt Hetherington, CIC, CRM, CPIA

Kurt started his career with James Greene & Associates in 1994. His first position was as an agent in western Tennessee. He also served in middle Tennessee and areas in Arkansas. Kurt was then promoted to Sales Manager. In 2008, he took the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and then in July of 2015, Executive Vice-President. Most recently, he was promoted to President by the CEO, Jeff Brantly. He earned the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1997 and the CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation in 2009. He has also earned the CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designation from Professional Insurance Agents. Kurt is a past board member and president of Professional Insurance Agents of Arkansas (PIAAR). He currently serves on the board of the Arkansas Insurance Hall of Fame and the president of the Association of Christian Childcare Administrators.  In 2013, he was the recipient of the Randy Henry Excellence in Service Award. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Kurt also received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Michigan University. When he is not working, Kurt enjoys spending time with his family, as well as watching and playing sports.

Travis Weaver joined the JGA team in December 2017 as an account executive in the central Arkansas area. Prior to this, Travis worked at Integrity Insurance since April 2015 as a multi lines sales producer. Before returning to insurance, Travis owned and operated Diamond Ice Company of Arkansas, Inc. and a yogurt franchise call Moo Moo’s Yogurt Bar in 2010. Travis graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Marketing degree. Travis recently served on the BMA Foundation board and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Disciple Guide Ministry Resources and Soaring Wings Ranch. He also serves as the president of the Greenbrier Softball Association. Outside of the office, Travis enjoys serving in his church and spending time with his family.

Michael began his insurance career with and James Greene & Associates in the fall of 2017. For the first four years he worked in the office in the Underwriting Department & served as a Bi-Vocational Youth Minister. In 2022, Michael moved into the field and became a Client-Relations Executive and began to strengthen the partnerships with churches and other businesses that the agency already serviced all while continuing to serve as a Bi-Vocational Youth Minister. Earlier in 2023, God called Michael and his family to uproot from Central Arkansas and plant new roots in Florence Mississippi where ne now serves as the Territory Manager for the southern region of Mississippi. Michael is proudly married to his wife Rebecca and has a son, Fletcher. In his spare time, he loves watching college sporting events, landscaping, and spending time with the family.

He received his MBA from Union University, where he served as an Adjunct Professor for nearly a decade. He has been recognized and received awards for leadership and sales. He has two daughters that attend high school and college in the west TN area. He and his daughters attend Englewood Baptist Church regularly. He is highly active in serving the west TN area on numerous boards and committees. Outside of work, Stephen loves to travel, watch sports, and hunt. He has been happily married to his wife, Hannah, for two years, and they are expecting their first child. They also enjoy the company of their Dalmatian and five chickens.
